This was produce as part of the Search for a Star competition Round 2 over a 2 week period. Round 1 involved submitting a piece of your with no specific brief and for that I submitted my temple scene. From over 220 entrants 56 went through. The aim of the round 2 was to produce several assets based off of a concept from Epic Games https://flic.kr/s/aHskhRJzbB . The assets had to be game ready and compatible with the Unreal Tournament version of the Unreal Engine. Assets were based off the 3 brick warehouse/industrial unit concepts.
For me this was a great, rewarding and challenging experience in which I learned a lot about myself as well several new techniques and ways of using Unreal Engine. The time limit was challenging as although I am a student I study a distance learning course and work full time so I couldn't spend as much time I wanted to working on it but spent every free minute I had on it.
